About Me

I completed my undergraduate and graduate training in New York, receiving a B.A. in Psychology from Columbia University and a M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology (with an emphasis on child development and therapy) from St. John’s University. I have more than ten years experience providing individual and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, advocacy, teaching and consultation in a variety of educational, mental health counseling and hospital settings.

Since moving to Colorado, I worked as a staff psychologist at the University of Colorado at Boulder where I specialized in treating international students and students on academic probation. I provided presentations and consultation to parents, faculty and staff on mental health issues and supervised therapists in training. I was also an adjunct professor in the Women and Gender Studies and Psychology Departments and taught courses on the Psychology of Gender and Sexuality.
